This was found to be r823 1meg o/c on psu

Nice of you to share that. I note the service manual does not have code 4 in its error table, nor does it have a PSU schematic.

Well said as ever - Recall when I had a non-existent error code on a Sony, you suggested it might be the Fee board - and it was.

Error code 4
R-822,R-823 and R-824...all 1MR on PSU board
