Title: Panasonic TX-37LZD800 - No Go.
Post by: Turnip on June 10, 2015,11:21:14
Hi folks,

Have one in where at least one Relay clicks, Red Led flashes in fast short bursts every few seconds that surely can't be an error code as far too fast to read. Pressing RCU and set buttons makes no difference, and of course no Sound nor back-light.

Any thoughts ? - Thanks - Chris.

Hi Chris,

Just for the hell of it, I've uploaded the service manual. Bon chance.

Hi Jordan and Bruce - Many thanks.

Had a look at the only 'ChasHyde' repair kit for TNPA4467 Power board, where mains fuse F7001 had popped with Q7005 S/C - Guess not my problem this time.

Managed to get P/S shematic from Electro Tanya - Good folks - Even managed pass their basic electrical test (at the fourth attempt)

Again - Thanks a lot, plenty to chew on - Thought check the Flea, as there must be heaps of screen smash sets, but power panels are £50+ even for a mend - Think try mend, as seems interesting - Chris.

Hi helpful folks and thanks, as ever,

Checked Jordan's list, and although C7011(100/50) and C7023(1/50) read near OK Value / ESR wise, replacing them did the job.

Was a bit thrown by C7028 as first couldn't find it 'till I realised was the Main cap, 'cos I was looking for little bulgy ones.

Guess usual P/S problem is a PFC pop covered by the ChasHyde kit - Not my trouble this time.

Thanks again - Chris.
