When I turned the TV on there was a very loud "snap" sound. Now the red light blinks on and off slowly. No sound or picture. I removed the power board (BN44-00192A) and checked all electrolytic capacitors (14 total) and they are all within 10 -15 %. I also checked the thermistor and fuse which were OK. I can see no evidence of burning, blistering or bulging on any components. Does anyone have an idea as to the cause of the problem? Is this a power board thing? I don't want to replace the whole board and find out that it isn't a power board malfunction. Thanks for any help.

hi,on the power supply there are two connectors;jump pin#1 and pin#5 with a wire on the smaller one
(it has 5 pins) disconnected;on the bigger solder pin#1 and pin#3(3v3 and PS_ON)together ,let it
plugged to the main board and plug the tv to the mains socket;if the power supply and the display
are OK,the display should turn on,otherwise power supply or the display are broken.this way you can
see if the problem is due to the main board or the power supply/display.
