Hi Bruce,

Wot's an 'atwinkle' - Something Antipodean I guess like 'Illywhacker'

Noticed Ebay now has stacks of recovered Led strings, only yet done one Toshiba 'Vestel' so unsure whether all Leds are 3.2 mm square, and jump about a bit when you try re-solder to a strip, and get lost in the carpet.

Used LMP solder for my first one, and maybe should have used 'super glue' to hold them in place, as wasted two Leds due to excess heat and thick carpet - Chris.

Hi Chris,

Nothing antipodean about it. Just a typo. Forgot to edit it and spell-checker didn't pick it up....It is actually a word I guess, What about your "wot"?

When those LEDs tumble earthwards, it's virtually goodbye. I've had it happen too. Part of life's little experiences.

Hi Bruce,

Only a smile from WW2 where 'Chad' had observations about shortcomings, and 'Wot' was an observation where certain stuff was in short supply.

Don't suspect spell check was one of 'em, mostly Anderson shelters, Liquorice root and Tiger nuts.

All totally horrid - Been there, attach schematic - Chris.

Hi Chris,

A foreign language to a post-war baby but good advise was "Don't mention the war". Schematic made up for it.

Hi Bruce,

Gather the expression went from USA to Australia where you have your own thoughts dealing with sheep with anal issues.

Otherwise 'John Cleese' the biz.

Born '42 so couldn't sort the battle of the bulge, though worried a bit - Chris.
