Title: Panasonic TX-L19E3B - Stuck in S/by.
Post by: Turnip on January 21, 2016,10:48:31
Hi Folks,

Had the set in a year or so ago where channels were stored in the wrong order, did a re-scan and got the same result, did factory reset and all OK.

Set now back, stuck in S/by where the Led flashes with RCU but stuck in S/by. Suspect if a Power/Led inverter issue wouldn't get a Red Led, so feel might be a main board problem as caps on the P/I board look OK - Any thoughts ? - Chris.

Next day it came on normally - Odd one.

Hi Chris,

Wonder if this is applicable to yours.  Q7801 = TPC8119 (NPN FET), Q8702 = TPC8037 (PNP FET). Very common on the Antipodean TH-L19X10A. Surface mounts under the PI board.

Hi Bruce and thanks,

Might be the biz but Fets rarely sort themselves by the next day. Still suspect SSB problem on this one, where tends it to flip out every couple of years.

Would have gone for a SSB on Ebay but no-one has smashed a screen yet, being a Led top and bottom jobby, where screen smashes take a large brick to convince insurance folks - Chris.
