Hi everybody!
I just get my hands on a dumped 42 lg tv, model 42lf66-ZE-AENYLJG. Of course it wasn´t working so i opened it up and saw the power board was missing. I saw an affordable one on ebay and bought it, the model was EAY38640201. After that I powered up the tv, and i saw the following thing: impossible to get signal, no from the tdt or hdmi or auxilliary source. I tried with several devices (dvd reader, playstation...) nothing to do i only could access the tv menu (that worked fine).
To get things worse i accidently droped the mainboard and broke it...But fact is i can get a very cheap replacement for that one, but i have still some doubts.
Are the previous problems (signal failure) coming from the mainboard or the replaced powerboard?
Second, i bought the power board just based on the EAY number and now i see some parts have various numbers, EAY, EAX and EBR. So I'm a bit lost for the compatibilities issues. So, is the powerboard i bought really compatible with the previous motherboard( Model EAX35231404(0)
84EBR37373926008). And if i decide to get a new motherboard, should i get the exact EAX AND EBR number as the old one or just the EAX number is enough?
Thanks a lot!

The LF range is a full hd set, it has the extra plug\socket on one side. From memory it is model specific but I will dig the manual out.

Thank you, it will be deeply apreciated

Ok, I see it clearer for the parts number.
My power supply is a 39702801 and my motherboard is an EBR37373926. These numbers can be found on stickers on the board.
Does anybody knows is theses parts match together? Connectors fit perfectly but I still have some doubts.
