Hi folks,
Have this Blu-Ray cinema in where at switch on it displays 'Please Wait' for a few seconds before showing F76 then cutting out - Any thoughts ? - Thanks, Chris.
Later - Warmed up the S/by PS area and it came on - Guess caps but not yet narrowed it down to anything specific.

Hi Chris,
F76 is displayed when there is an abnormality in the output voltage of the stabilized power supply;this is due to any of the
DC voltages(+9V,+7V,-7V,+5V,+5.3V,etc.);pressing 'STOP' button on the keyboard will bring up the next error on the
display;anyway, surely you know how to find out the bad cap(s).

Thanks Mike,
First had the thought it might be an audio output issue so pulled out the supply feed to the panel.
Got another error code that possibly suggested I'd pulled the plug out.
Mention as don't have the manual, also other folks might have the problem - Noticed on line that they do, and guess only Quuq folks will help sort it - Chris

Error code 76
Replace C-5726 (10uF/50V/105 degre) near Q-5720 (STRX-6768)

Hi Chris,
That's good oil from Flash Jordan. This cap usually kills the power but can cause F76.
I attach a diagnostic for F76 troubleshooting, but I wonder what the author was on.

Hi Jordan and Bruce,
Replacing C5726 did the job - Checked and it was down to 0.6Mfd.
Noticed the main cap holds it's charge quite a long while after switch off, glad I flashed a lamp across it before it got me.
Many thanks - Najlepša hvala prijatelj (I think) - Chris.
