Hi folks,
Have a chum who deals with folks with sight issues where this rather ancient machine seems the biz as can record and playback useful stuff.
Got machine from the Flea where the head was so worn that recordings were inaudible. Tried the Flea for a head in vain, then tried Wiltsgrove where they still stock one with the same mounting centres and for a couple of Quid +.
Tried one, sound weak so had to tweak the mounting bracket to lift the head maybe 3mm - Did the job. Replacement head had no tape guide, but doesn't seem a problem, as Mono is forgiving - Chris.
