Possibly in Hotel Mode. and someone has set the volume to that level.

Right checked it
Wasn't in hotel mode
But putting it in hotel mode and setting volume limit to 10 has stopped it turning on with high volume.

Taking out of hotel mode and the problems  appears again

So will just leave in hotel mode...

I normally open the switch up with a pin either side. Clean up the contacts and then spray electrical contact cleaner inside.
Easy solution to prove it is just remove connector cable from buttons. It will then be conclusive whether issue is down to buttons. Use remote control to turn it on.

Wasnt an issue with the switch
