Title: ue39f5500ak poor picture left side
Post by: bonesy on April 11, 2017,06:02:42
Hi guy's,not been on for a bit, been out three weeks, chest infection.I've got the above model fitted with
T-con type v390hj4-ce1.The left hand side of picture is divided up into five columns of negative picture,a  bit like the effects of a failed AS15F,with flickering lines over the top.the other side of picture is perfect. If you disconnect left side ribbon, you get that side just solid white.I'll try & put some picture up.Just wondering if anyones had this & if screen or t-con problem.I've got watch my pennies having been out so long, can't afford to waste money.

Im pretty sure this model has the tcon on the botton of the panel if so look for liquid damage on the lcd pcb area as tab bonds maybe damage due to liquid being used to clean lcd.

I had a Samsung UE40K5100AK with a broken screen which I stripped down the other day and found there was a small flex cable linking the two sides of the screen board together on the screen. This possibly may be corroded or high resistance? Just a thought.
Good luck with it :)
