Title: Panasonic TX-L39E6B error code one, back lights flicker on/off then shut down
Post by: bonesy on July 14, 2017,06:19:15
Hi folks got the above symptoms going on which I think is failed back lights. The screen is a Chinese
Innolux(might be spelt wrong) which by looks of it is edge lit fitted to a large metal plate.Has anyone changed these LEDs & how do they come apart?Do you have to strip screen down same as standard
LED strips or does the light bar pull out.
The screen type is V390 HJ1-LE6 REV.C5

Hi bonesy,

Don't know this model and can't find any service data for it, but it sounds like LED failure. You will need to gut the display panel as per normal, but if it's edge lit I usually find the LEDs are packed closely together and encapsulated in a metal channel so you cant get at them individually.

You seem to be getting your fair share of Panasonics ATM. All good fun. Good luck with it.                  Bruce

Yep,don't see a Panny for ages, then like buses come in droves.Turned out the 50" I've got, can't find a SSB(Aboard) anywhere secondhand, one in France but £150.The girl that owns it,was sold it for £200
over two yrs ago,so doesn't want to spend more than £100.
