Got one in where the Red led turns to Blue, but no sound or picture. Realising these sets are famed for Eeprom corruption, thought might be the case, but normally they're stuck in s/by, cycle on and off or show a strange picture.
Thought check Led backlights - Two strings, where on the tester one read 52.8v and the other O/C so suspect I'm on to something - Chris.
Later - One O/C Led replaced - Standard LG 3v.
Reassembled, then the next day another Led went O/C. Wouldn't mind but getting the screen apart and together again is a bit of an issue, but guess practice helps outcome.
Replaced the second O/C Led, but found on reassembly - Backlight OK but just a few bright lines at the top of the screen.
Thought I'd damaged the screen, but was just the LVDS plug needing cleaning. Guess test for a few days.
