Title: Phillips 40plf7605h

Hi this tv was just all lines replaced tcon, now have a white bar about 6 inch wide with colours going through. Found this part on the main board shot just near were the cables from the tcon goto, but I don't know what its called here ia a picture if anyone can help. This is what the picture looks like after tcon replacement is it worth buying another mainboard.

hi ,its a diode what makes you think its faulty ie. what tests have you tried on this part

There are 3 in line together and one gives a different reading even when i have taken them out.

I agree with Jordan. Try removing one flexi between the T-con and display panel, and note the picture you get. Then refit that flexi and remove the other one. If you can get a clear picture or white screen on one half (the right half, I suspect), but not on the other half. then your display panel is kaput.                                          Bruce

When I remove the flex I get white on one side but still with the lines, and on the other side it still looks like its missing a colour in places. If it is the screen too bad, I only got it out of the local dump anyway.
