Hi fella's just been to a pub to look at this tv,  it's a samsung ps50q96hd clicking fault , took the back off 3 caps were gone, dry joints on the 2 fets replaced cleaned up, but still clicking when it does boot up crackerling sound half a picture, i have had this fault before i replaced the mainboard cured the fault, is there a repair on the mainboard i can do instead of replacing the board thanks

If the two FETs were QX801/2, you need to check RX802, RX803, RX832 and RX833. These are all 20 ohm smd. RX803 is across RX832.
Also check RX804 (10K) - usually OK. Can also kill DX803 and DX804. If in doubt about any readings, this circuit is replicated on the print side of the 2 larger FETs on the same heatsink - compare.                                Bruce
