Hi Everyone Have a Sony 55xd9305 back,it was in a few weeks ago and replaced ic408,it has failed again.Am wondering what is the value of the three caps across the output as one of them is missing,i think i lost it when doing the last repair,would that been missing cause the chip to fail again.Any advice much appreciated

Hi Al, if that is the 12V regulator IC on the DPS3 board (centre of TV), Sony now have an upgraded board.                         Bruce

Revised board # is A2195346A. I suspect you're in the UK and as I'm in Australia, I'm not sure where you might procure it.                Bruce

Google "A2165346A MAN enterprises" -in UK judging by the currency - reckon they have in stock.
