Title: Anybody Knows About Component marked as : 'CP' ?
Post by: teknofix on September 23, 2008,22:39:42
I am trying to repair TV set, I found 2 components looks like brown ceramic capacitors in clear pvc wrap marked as : CP and they both check open. I think CP stands for : (Circuit Protection) just like fuse, but they check open I am confused if they are capacitor or fuse.. anybody knows ?

are there #'s that follow?
and if they are protection components then they are blown :bomb:
where are they located?
if they are blown then of course there is something else wrong , what kind of tv is it?
