Title: Dodgy Supplier?
Post by: markc on August 19, 2010,12:39:32
Hi all,

has anyone had any dealings with these: UK TV PARTS soon to become the leading supplier in television parts around the country.
After waiting 3 weeks for them to supply a part I ordered, I finally had to chase NOCHEX the company who processed the card transaction. Today I recieved the part which was faulty. I have sent several emails but they do not reply. I suppose I should have been suspicious when the only contact details was an email address. I have now tracked them down to an address in Birmingham.
I would be interested to hear of anyone elses experiences, be they good or bad, whilst I await my refund!
Mark

Just to update this one, I did get a refund after finding a number and telephoning the guy.
He was polite and seemed like a nice guy, he even gave me a bit extra to cover my postage!
Why he doesn't answer emails I don't know. Funny way to run a business.
Hope his cheque doesn't bounce!

According to the Trade Metrology (the science of measurement) Act, bread could not weigh less than 5% of the declared quantity, or more than 10%.

Moeletsi said the government needed to ensure contravenors faced harsher prosecution through reviewing the act to close loopholes - which was currently happening - and should have their profits taken away, instead of being fined.

"At the moment, suppliers in contravention of the law only pay a fine, depending on the ruling by the magistrate."
