Title: Semiconductor Suppliers
Post by: Keith on August 29, 2010,05:45:46
Hi all,

Does anyone know or use and semiconductor suppliers, other than the usual ones?

We are trying to obtain a thyristor type CR5AS-12  or  equivalent  MCR12DSNT4G

Farnell say they can send from USA, £15.95 P+P is a bit too much! But their parent site shows no stock anyway.

Thanks

Keith

Hi Keith,

Checking Datasheetarchive, it seems a fairly standard device - bet RS do dozens, cheapish  - Chris.

Thanks for the reply Chris,

These are SMD and  have a sensitive gate trigger up to 200uA, most standard devices are 20 mA and up and aren't triggered by the low trigger signal. Have ordered some from China now! We seem to be importing more and more these days.
