Post by: Beezer on December 02, 2010,11:07:02
Help!! I have a problem with my Philips 28PW6315/05.  After a few minutes it goes onto standby and the red standby light blinks twice....any suggestions?

Hi Bri,

What chassis ?  - in later Tube Philips the micro panel gave such trouble - Customers always said on-off switch - well, dries on the switch board did some cremation but generally, after doing all the mods suggested the set cut after a variable period.

Only genuine fault I met was that line drive coupling cap that went high ESR - and that one gave wobbly width clues B4 the LOP went S/C.

Go LCD/Plasma and get other problems - all the best - Chris.

Hi Dave,

Well said - won't make anyone a pound though - love Philips, as does the tip - Chris.
