ok guys, any one repaired one of these it's a lg flatron w2042s-sf monitor, 3 caps were bulged change them powers up with blue light then green light no image any info would be great thanks for your time

Hi Shaun,

No info on the model, but have you checked the screen tubes ?  they're a fave esp if it's a 16:9 monitor, but you usually get a flash before inverter cuts - Chris.

hi chris thanks for the interest. i can get another power supply for round about 25 quid, the 2 ap4524ea chips i think are causing the trouble i have tested the backlight with tl1040 tester they light up ok, thanks for your time
