Title: Toshiba RDXV60KB turns off

I have a RDXV60KB machine that no longer wants to stay on. If its been unplugged and stone cold, then it will start up for about 20 seconds, before turning off. Pressing the on button will then only last for about 1 second before it switches off again. Does anybody have, or know where I can get, the service manual, or schematics for this machine ? Or have any helpful suggestions on the problem?

Replaced D1522 and D1523 (1N4005 or 1N4007)

Hi Misty,

If it's anything like Toshiba DVR19DTKB2 which is the one without HDD, various P/S diodes are suspect. Note that D1522 and D1523 are on the VCR board near the loading motor.

Jordan has covered the DVR machine mentioned in an earlier post should P/S be similar - Chris.
