hi fella's silly one, has anyone  taken the back off this tv, do you need need a special tool thanks

What Shaun, no screws? You'll have to open it up like a remote control. Samsung do have a tool for doing this but I'm told it's fairly
useless. I use the blade of a pen-knife - very carefully because the display panel usually sits just under the cabinet surround, so you don't want to put undue pressure on the glass.                Bruce
