If you do have a faulty TV set and UMC manufacture it then UMC who brand a lot of Technika, Bush, Alba, Blaupunkt etc are very good at supplying the relevant firmware. This has to be requested from them but they quickly respond (normally the same day within a few hours (which is excellent)).

Just make sure you include your serial number and any * asterisked requests in the form as they are compulsory.
Saved me a few times with the software they have provided.
