Evesham 42" LCD - Help !!!!

Hi Can anyone help i've had a Evesham 42" LCD for about 3 years without any problems out of the blue the set went to standby and wouldn't come back on using the remote the blue power light comes on but goes back off straight away unplugged from the power supply left for a while turned back on and the TV worked but only for about a minute then went off again... and keeps doing this !
Is this a common problem if so any idea's on how to get this fixed i have no idea about even thinking about trying to repair it myself. And i can't cope with watch TV through a 19" set

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.
