Proline 28n1 hotel mode

Hi, does anyone have any details of how to turn hotel mode off on this set? (i beleive goodmans are similar).
Sound is set to zero on power up and will not increase.
I can access service but none of the settings seem relevent.
An idiots guide would be helpful
