I have just repaired one of these that was coming on for 3 to secs then going into standby , it was a power supply fault which i belive is a common fault with these tv's, I replaced 3 caps on the output side of the power supply 2 1000uf 10v and a 470uf 16V which had domed I replaced them with higher voltage rateings 16v for the 10v and 25v for the 16v , its working as normal now and cost pence to repair and a bit of help looking around this forum thanks to everyone who posts tips , I have saved myself a fourtune THANKS TO ALL OF YOU !!!
