Hi folks,
Have one of these initially stuck in S/by. Replaced bulgy caps C806, C851 and C863 (all 1000/16) and main cap C819(150/450) for luck although it checked out at 135mfd at 0.3 Ohms.
Worked well for a while then PFC section became noisy and set cut to S/by. Tried several times and found the 'On' time variable for no obvious reason.
May not be linked, but when working there was a noticeable 100Hz'ish hum from the inverter.
Checked those 15nf/630's naturally, all OK.
Any thoughts ? - Chris.
Later - P/S replaced with a known good one - Inverter still hums but set remains on.
