Have a DMTECH 17" LCD TV Built in DVD Player, no model stated only other marks on manual LM.
Have had unit since Feb 2006, with no problems at all, a great little unit until this week, intermitantley the left half of the scereen drags down into vertical lines the colors of picture on screen, mainly flashing on and off, but sometimed still for a few minutes, if blank screen half of the screen is jet black, the rest speckly when no signal detected.
Turning off screen resets ok for a short period before it starts again.
Tried to remove back to take pic, but even after removing all screws could not seem to remove, there are two small inspection plates, removing these, one exposes some sort of processor, the other three small multi pin plugs.
Comments appreciated, if pos a local repair agent, can take anywhere if needed.
