can anyone tell me if thease two inverters use the same transformers...LG. LC320WXN AND PHILIPS  LC420WU5.cause they look the same.....

I'd say they are the same, I have used diferent tye of transformers on repairs (same size screen) and the have worked. Compare the winding resistence, but those boards look identical.

Take a look at page 8 of the pdf I've put up, looks similar to the transformer on the LC320WXN board.

As the coil resistances etc can be found on the website
