SAMSUNG 32" LE32A456C2
« on: October 03, 2011,18:07:11 »
Hi All,
Ive got one of these in for repair from a friend.  Was working fine, now no backlight.  Havnt took the back off yet.  I presume it's going to be inverter, anyone had same issue before I start.  Though it best to ask the experts.

Hi rebel-mc,

Have nothing listed, perhaps pics and panel numbers might help folks - Chris.

Could simply be bad capacitors on the 24v?

I take it you have sound. If so most prob one of inverter transformers.best to measure them all.In my experience always best to start at transformers on inverter then work backwards.ie fuses on inverter next, then go to power supply.

Hi, All fixed.  Couple of bad caps on the 24v line.  Both caps looked ok, but cap meter told different story.  Thanks
