Sanyo CE32LD47B - no sound
« on: October 27, 2012,11:45:54 »
Hi folks,

This Vestel with 17PW26-4 and 17MB35-4 came in for 'No sound'

Turned it on, sound was deafening - set at at max, subtitles were also displayed.

Found a PS cap (C850-1000/50) a bit bulgy, so changed it. But as it feeds the inverter can't imagine it's the problem.

Haven't met the customer (aged or otherwise) and thought this might be a silly one, but perhaps someone has had the problem (with this Vestel) before.

Serious query as I'm a bench man not dealing much with folks these days - Chris.

Thanks Jordan,

Trouble is - set works perfectly.

Matter of interest, tried headphone socket to see if it cuts internal speakers - it doesn't, and cust is reported to be not lacking in hearing, or even sense.

Gather they tried all manner of inputs, but no joy - odd one - Chris
