hello guys .learning how to fix plasmas..i have two nec 42inch plasmas
#1 works okay with every thing but i have multi coloured lines on left side of screen .you can still see picture all the way across screen behind the lines.lines seem to move and change colour as picture changes .disconnected vid board .but lines have stayed .need help..model is pxt42s11s.
#2 when i received this plasma it had multicoloured lines all across screen.lines would change thickness when you zoom the picture.applied low warmth to main board.after couple seconds screen would come good .would stay like that as long as you kept going.turn off for 1 second and would start over again .tracked down to where it was faulty using heat and freezer.re soldered all parts in this area.now it wont bring picture up.checked to see if i had run solder to some thing else, all okay.any ideas .model is px42xm1g.cant get any service manuals anywhere
