Yes, I have WAX2 Chassis into my Sony KDL-32S2020 (AEP). Serial Number: 4311000.
I have seen: "Table 32S2020" attached.
My Sony is "LIST A" and then it was necessary your DM2.5.515.zip file.
With a Sony Memory Stick 8MB (formatted with Sony HandyCam DCR-PC101E), I have flashed the FEE Board and Software is now "New Vers. 2.5.515" attached.
First question: what's new in this version? (I had 2.5.107) I have seen:
a) Where I see the new Vers. Software, below the signal level bar, now also appear PreViterbi Ber, 5s (pre), PostViterbi Ber, 5s (post), UEC (Uncorrected errors Counter) values.
b) In Auto Search (or Manual Search) now the set reads and saves all the HD services (unfortunately, there isn't the MP4 decoder and then the screen is black...).
Second question: For sending your other .zip files to the BE Board (with Fujitsu MB91305 uP) is necessary Sony TL3 Jig Interface Board (9-948-020-98). Do you know if exists an alternative board with USB and ECS connector that works with Fujitsu FlashProgrammer (V4.5.10.9) Software? Otherwise, how can I send TM, TS, TD files? Perhaps, Sony (or other seller) sells old TL3 Board?
Third question: my Tv Set works fine (it is ten years old!). It properly decode very low level signals (35.5 dBuV) but reject all the signals with small echoes levels even inside IG. The antenna system is properly realized. But there are three channels with very small echo incoming from the same antenna. My instrument, "says," this thing. All my other decoders work perfectly: the old ADB i-CAN 2000T, Humax DTT3600MHP, Axil RT0302HD with HDMI inserted into the Sony KDL-32S2020, the very old Samsung SDT-702 and the new Sony Bravia TV KDL-50W828B (all channels 100 % quality, even one with a level 7% !!!) with PKG2.704EUB (23/11/2015) upgraded software.
I would like change my FEE Board (or FEE Board + TUE Board), if i could receive "echoes channels".
In Sony Serv.Manual there are two version of FEE Board: A-1173-180-C (AEP) and A-1173-179-C (UK). Part Number 1-869-656-1 (172714511) CFE-050-FEE-06. In Training Manual, the FEE Board is 1-869-656-12 (172714512) CFE-050-FEE-07. In E-Bay, many sellers (UK and no UK) have a later version 1-869-656-21 (172714521) CFE-050-FEE-08. I must understand very well if DM2.5.515 and DM2.15.602 Software Versions are connected with these Boards. Or if Software Version depends by TUE Board with Tuner BTD-HF431Z or latest BTD-HF441Z. If I look at the Serial Number in Technical Bulletin, I see the earlier WAX2 (26") needs DM2.5.515 and latest production (KDL-26 only) DM2.15.602 .
I have to understand this, very well, because the "fault" of my old Sony I think is tied to the Tuner (decision circuit). It would also be interesting to see if any newer version of TV has the DM software compatible with the S version. Eg. V2xxx, U2xxx, W2000 etc. Or if 2.5.515 is latest for S2xxx.
