LG 42LN540V.SAT not working.

Hi Tony,another query for you I think.I've got a customer with above model number,he say's the satellite tuner has stopped working!Looking at the board picture(set not in yet) it's a combined tuner for Freeview & f connector for SAT.Can you tell me is the SAT tuner freesat compatable or a general tuner?
Do they retune automaticly like freeview or do you have select Freesat from a selection menu?
Customer has tried set on two different dish set ups,no go on either,so looks as though it's the tuner.

I think the default satellite in the menu is 19.2 so you have to change it to 28.2 then retune. The LG is not Freesat compatible and you have to programme in some transponders as they arent on the list. All in all its a giant pain as you then have to rearrange the channels. If Im wrong someone will correct me.

As far as I aware Sinclair is correct, Iv'e never tuned one in, I just attempt to repair the boards. Our testers do the functional tests, the Freeview section is known to fail, a lot in fact, if you want a tuner I can post you one, they are easy to change. I have a Leister heat gun, I don't recommend a paint stripper heat gun, the print is fine. But with the proper gun the tuner falls out.
