Another thought, when you can't find a matching strip (and they never match the holes in the white backing sheet unless they're from the same model), is to take a good strip, cut off each LED on a strip of print, then joint each cut-off with a pair of insulated wires. Involves a bit of scraping, but the strip you end up with is then adjustable to match the holes, and can be made to any length (number of LEDs), and can be prefabricated ready to go when you need them. I have tried it and it works. A lot less fiddly than trying to transfer discrete LEDs which crumble at the first sign of heat, and there is no need to remove the lens covers. A bit tricky if the LEDs are in series parallel on the same strip. Bruce
