Panasonic TX-55AX630B

			Hi Folks,
Got a Panasonic TX-55AX630B with a curious picture. Seems other folks repaired a Led issue, but shortly afterwards, the RHS is  OK, The centre has a dark vertical band and the LHS takes seconds to catch up with the RHS picture.
Tend to suspect screen damage from previous repair as have duffed a few up myself, long in the past.
Admit don't fancy anything that big having short arms. Attach a picture - Chris.

Hi Chris,
Looks to me that the panel may be edge lit down both sides and the LEDs on the left edge are out. What does your LED tester say?

			Hi Bruce,
Yes but. Noticed picture change really slow LHS which seems to indicate screen damage.
Chap in the shop saw the bill from another firm, where they stated they had sorted the backlight biz, but there was possibly another issue they couldn't sort.
Note the bill stated £88.00 for bits, but I noticed bleed though from a badly placed lens suggesting they didn't replace all the strips, or even any.
Could rule out edge lit issues. Don't know the total bill, but folks weren't too happy, still aren't - Chris.

Wonder if they fitted an LED or two.... with another of the incorrect voltage/current and there's a temperature brightness issue, maybe another LED is going duff.
The other day I scrapped a almost new 49" Samsung chap said, his daughters 'hubby' decided put it on the wall...... did a very nice job, two minutes later 'KER RASH' it fell on the floor and smashed the screen, you couldn't tell unless it was powered up. There were only a strip of LEDs at the top when I bisected the screen, I expected see a strip at the bottom as well.....
suppose if one of these led's went duff you'd get an identical fault, just a thought, hence the post.

			Hi Davy,
Its a thought but every time I get a slow moving picture, its screen damage. Maybe a small nick in the glass or flexies pulled off the screen. Guess pretty easy to do with a 55 inch with normal arms.
Last time I had a 55 inch in for dubious backlight I suggested they take it somewhere else - Mind you, it was a UMC - China crap assembled in eastern europe by folks who normally come over and dig potatoes.
Guess vote remain as we need potatoes for chips - Chris.
