i have this tv to mend when it comes on it will run ok no problem but the problem is getting it on if i keep switching it on and of eventually it comes on then it will stay on untill i turn it of then when i turn it back on again it stays in st/by untill i mess about with the on/of again any help is appreciated

Check and replace the power switch.

i shouldve said the tv comes on but is in standby and only comes out of st/by if i mess about switching it on and of but it will always come on in st/by.i was told it could be the micro ic would you agree with that.thanks for any help
