Toshiba 20WLT56B (Vestel 17MB16P-2)

Hi there,
New to the forum but hope someone could help with a service manual for a Toshiba 20WLT56B Vestel 17MB16P-2 chassis. The set is stuck in standby, suspect the inverter but would like a manual to do more checks.

first off if this tv uses the 17pw16 power supply, then it could well be the power supply that is faulty. there are 2 power supplies in 1. 1 being for standby and the other being for the mainboard, audio , idtv pcb and the inverter. it would also be worth while checking the inverter pcb for burnt components etc. as we have found that sometimes the power supply has failed due to the inverter failing....

Hi I have read the replys and yes check out the power unit by exchange I have the same set but I have loss of signals on certain channels I now my workshop aerial system is working correctly . Does any body know if there is a engineers menu so hopfully there will be a adjustment?
