Help please - Sanyo CBP 2872 no sound

I have been given a second hand Sanyo 2872 with remote it works perfectly except there is no sound.

I have tried another speaker and still no sound. The speakers makes a bump sound when I press the mute buttin on and aff.

Can anyone help me??

Thanks I had a look it doesnt appear that there are any settings I can change so I am guessing its a chip blown and that is beyond my repair capabilities.

It looks like it will have to be sent to be recycled which is a pity as it has a great picture.
