Bush LCD32TV005HD
« on: March 25, 2009,13:06:17 »
Hi all, I have the above set for repair, when you switch on using either remote control or on board buttons the tv will come on. When it is on you cannot change channels or alter volume or anything else. If you switch off using the on/off switch it comes back on standby, requiring the remote to bring back on again. I think I may have an eprom problem, after doing some more checks, the clock and data lines are only active during the start up sequence, any suggestions welcome. Norman

Hi Nick, I had disconnected the tact switches previously as I have had problems with them in the past. Thanks for the suggestion, Norman
