I have an RCA L37WD12 LCD, and just recently as I was watching TV the picture suddenly just faded out and the red standby light came on. When I tried to turn it back on, the standby light would got out for a second or two and flip back on. I opened the tv, replaced all the caps on the PSU board and the small high voltage board that the power cable originally feeds into. Now, when I attempt to turn the tv back on, the red light goes off and doesnt come back on unless i turn the set off again. Also, there is a constant high pitched sound coming from the small board that the power feeds into before the PSU board when the standby light is on red. Any ideas what the next step in troubleshooting is?
