Matsui M16LID709 - Vestel
« on: July 17, 2009,09:42:16 »
Hi Folks,

Have one of these Vestel MB25 sets where customer plugged mains into the 12v battery lead. Board looks undamaged - checked SM fuses and found only FS102 (Marked 'S') open circuit.

Any idea what it is, or anyone with a schematic ?

   Thanks - Chris.

Old thread I know but I've just got one of these TVs and came across this thread...

Found a schematic for Vestel 17MB25 which might be of use:

Seems that Orion LCD T16 DVD is the same TV. Here's a thread on a Dutch forum with someone trying to repair one (via Google Translate):

Seems that these can play DivX from the DVD, was wondering if there was any way of enabling DivX from USB. Long shot.

Thanks jimca007,

Mine was two years ago - matter of interest, took it off the heap recently and found in now worked so flogged it quick B4 Analogue dies at Crimble.

Thanks Shoog - as to DivX, surely any TV can display it, it's just a matter of player having decoding whatsits - just bought a Tosh that has those nifty cojones - Chris.
