Sharp LC-32D65E
« on: July 19, 2009,10:39:16 »
Hi Folks,

Got one of these, where lightning reported to be the cause. Totally Dead although mains fuses OK and DC present after the Mains bridge - nothing on the main cap.

Anyone with ideas or a shematic diagram ?

     Thanks - Chris.

Hi Folks,

Got a little further, discovering the 5V standby fuse F7102 (1A A/S) O/C. Rough check on TNY274PN indicates 200 Ohm either way, output to deck - suspicious.

No one stocks them - not even CHS.  Would any other TNY with same pin configuation do ?

   Thanks again - Chris.

Thanks Sparky,

Tried those, Dalbani seems difficult to access, as on visiting the site, they require personal info, which when supplied, is rejected - haven't the knack, perhaps. Wizard, used years ago, don't seem to appear to be currently active. Wiltsgrove for me - but they don't have the chip either.

  Thanks again - Chris.

Thanks all,

Looks to me as if Power / Invertor board is Sharp manufacture - far too tidy and well thought out to be European or Chinese origin - no disrespect intended, but, know what I mean ?

    Thanks, Chris.

Thanks Tony,

Power/Invertor board is RUNTKA456WJQZ and looks awfully Sharp - well laid out, no caps under heatsinks. Any thoughts about getting that S/by power chip most welcome.

    Thanks again - Chris.

Hi, and thanks Dave,

Thought I had tried CPC/Farnell, as have an account, but will look again. Incidentally found the Tinies and lots of other useful chips on RS. tried to pay by cards or open account - no dice, turned down by my post code, it seems.

Tried CPC/Farnell later - no TNY274PN listed.  Eventual success with RS - Great.

    Thanks - Chris.

thanks for feedback on your fault chris and where part was obtained , please note forum feedback is always welcome then we know fault has been cracked people tend to post fault and not say if its been repaired the net is full of problems/faults where no feedback is given ,so if the tech info you have been given has not solved it post again seasoned tech/engineers can help you, it is handy to know if your a tech or novice only so we can give you proper tech info it is no use telling you to check data buses SCL/SDA and clocks/ int lines ect with a scope/pulser at the same time it is no use telling a tech/engineer to check the picofuse, regards dave.

Hi Dave,

It's a pleasure, and having contact from folks who want to check the capacitance of an inductance in Mhos, get the idea. Feedback gives clues about technical status, and we go on from there, being enthusiasts - this one somewhat ancient but keen, well it's that or painting the house, yet again - Chris.
