hi all, me again, hitachi 26ld6600 still having problems, the screen seems fine no marks cracks but wont display anything .checked the cable from main board to the screen and belled the wires through all ok and dosent affect it when its moved whilst on.
when i leave it on an channel for a while theres a blue section starting in the bottom left hand corner and spreads accross, not all the way though, u can see sort of an led matrix sort of pattern at the edge of this blue patch.
any thoughts on what could cause this type of screen screw up???????????????????????

just an update on this, ive got the tv to work, however starts off with the blue patch as i said before but if left for 10-20 mins the screen flicks on as it should be .
any ideas what would cause this delay?

hi do you or have you tried any signal into av1 as a sky box update while connected this input screws up the software in the tv. try without any signal connected and see if you can get menu up this has to be done within 30 seconds or tv will go into standby. if menue comes on repost reply and will try and explain
how to reset if no menu suggest firmware update
