i've got a Sharp 66GS-62H tv, when u plug it in, it'll remain on standby mode even when u press the program or channel button, no pics & sound will come out. how to mend this problem, please help, many thanks! :cheesy1:

hi
check the 1000mf in the secondary side transformer
and for dry joints

Hello,

As another thought, check LO/P (BUH515D) for S/C and possible dry joints at C619.

tv tony, If u have service notes please upload them. As far as phil_3x is concerned the problem is due to processor IC & its related circuit. Please chk 1> reset 2>crystal 3>5 volt supply 4> SCL-SDA bus for open or shorts 5> processor{command} IC.
