Hi Guys, Anyone have a manual for the above that I can beg, borrow, or steal. The eprom is corrupted and if you have a list of options etc that would be most helpful. I was going to purchase a new eprom, they are out of stock at present. Please help. Norman

Hi Daz, I would need all the settings as the eprom is badly corrupted. I have done the adjustments as per previous posts but can't get the set to find any channels after scanning, also no dvb available. I would appreciate it if you could do this for me. I was going to order one but chs are quoting 5-10 days delivery. I am sure you will know how impatient customers are. Many thanks, Norman

Hi Norman.did you read my post on or about 9.9.09 re ic1803 . Next time I'm ordering from chs,a spare eeprom is going to be first on list.I think I was lucky as new one I fitted set up it's self in within 2 mins.
I don't think chs took as long as 5 days for del..but that was in August and samsung stocks could be low.

i have scribbled down all the settings,the quickest way would be for me to fax them to you (if you have a fax) i will type them out for you but there are 4 pages of settings it will take me a day to do at the speed i type.

Hi John, I have read your previous post, I have two of these tv's needing eeproms. CHS list them as out of stock 5-10 days delivery. I know they are very good at sourcing parts, so maybe the timescale given is only to cover themselves. Thanks for your input, I will order spare chips anyway. Regards, Norman

Just read your posts as I am having the same issue with a Samsung LCD, I checked and seen that the serial |eprom is a Samsung 24C256BN, do you have the spec for this part as Atmel do a 24C256 part that is their type number AT24C256C that has Vcc input as 1.7 to 5.5v and is arrayed at 38k x 8

Hello,
I understand that a 24C64 EEPROM will work in place of the 24C256, as not all
the locations are used, and the 24C64 is big enough. 
Has anybody used one of these?
