Hi Theo,
Sorry to be a pain in the neck.
I have looked at the one you suggested on eBay but I have also found this one, I think.

http://www.ohmsupplies.co.uk/epages/62027733.sf/en_GB/?ObjectPath=/Shops/62027733/Products/TX01

Is the one at the top of the page what I am looking for?

Cheers,
Mac

measure other transformer to check

I think you have a Darfon board, the ones at Ohms look ok. You will need to check if the supply to the inverter is 12 or 24 volt. The best bet, drop them an e-mail and ask the suitability for your model.

Hi Theo,
I definitely have a Darfon board marked: -
Darfon V183
4H.V1838.461 /B
DS-1926006341-738-0000000-0436-01
Whatever all that means.
Thanks for the advice, I will email them.
Cheers,
Mac

Hi Theo,
It's me, the pain in the neck, back again.
I emailed those people as you suggested and got a negative reply.
After trolling round the web, I even looked for a replacement Inverter board, I am more confused than ever.
My question is this, are the ones on eBay you pointed me at originally the right ones?
Cheers,
Mac  :wallbash:

hi
some people will say they fit and work(sold as seen)
but the reading of there terms mean you have no
chance of getting your cash back

The 4006 type could probably be made to work. The end pins are the same as all Darfon boards. The middle ones look different. 4006's have a slightly different arrangement even though the winding would be the same. A pic of the board would be good to see the connecting pads of the pcb with the transformer removed. The logic here is, 8 connections on transformer, 6 coil ends, so 2 might be just for anchorage purposes and not needed. From your pic, 2 of the centre pins are no connection. Measure the resistance between the 4 centre pins (on the panel) with the transformer removed, if you get around zero ohms, it's more than likely the 4006 type will work without any wiring modification to the pcb.
