« on: August 24, 2010,04:18:40 »
Good morning all!

Sony KDL-32U2000, seems to be stuck in service mode, customers original complaint was no tuning menus.

Any ideas or anyone have a good eeprom dump?

Thanks

Hi, I think Ive got a complete mainboard from a 32s2000. Would this be the same? Or would this be any help?

Regards

Thanks Sparky, I have the manual. Seems that it will tune analogue but there is no digital menu. And the service menus are accessible at switch on, not a good thing. Think I will remove and erase the eeprom tomorrow and see if it will load default values.

Don't think the chassis is the same as 32s2000 as its not listed on the manual, thanks anyway rebel-mc

The problem is caused by a small amount of liquid contamination and corrosion on the flash memory IC. New board will be required 1-870-688-11.

Back to the vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers now and make some money!!
