Hi Folks,

Have one of these where Tv works fine, but although video mode changes are indicated on screen no functions work - cassette loaded.

Any thoughts - Chris.

hi chris
had similar faults on a slightly different model
try giving the mode switch a clean or if it uses a capacitor as a back up battery short it out to flatten it then re start the set.

Hi, and thanks Daz,

Tried those, but now Cust has given up hope, so down to the local tip for a good replacement.

Recycling 'R' us - Esp. if it's cheap - well always is, but bit of a wait, perhaps  - Chris.
