Bush 32" TV022HD --(press standby get green light but nothing else)

can someone help i have a bush 32" lcd tv model:-32TV022HD

when channel selection button is pressed on model.. the red light turns to green but nothing else..
can someone point me into right direction,,

is it psu or inverter fault. i have never really ever bothered with bush sets as cheap and nasty..
but its a friends ,

great its come on now mate... right green screen could that be the ribbon cable like everyone keeps saying its a hint of green thanks sparks.really appreciated
